About Word Cross
Word Cross blends a classic crossword grid with swipe-to-connect word hunting: trace letters in any direction to spell out hidden words and fill the grid, working through more than 6,000 levels that get trickier as you go. A built-in dictionary shows definitions for words you find, so it doubles as some light vocabulary building.
There's no timer, and hints or boosters like a magnifying glass are there if a word is proving stubborn to find.

How to play
Swipe across connected letters in any direction to spell a word; if it's one of the hidden words, it fills into the crossword grid. Keep connecting words until the grid is complete to clear the level, and reach for a hint if you're stuck on one particular word rather than giving up on the whole puzzle.
