About Master Chess
Master Chess is standard chess played against the AI or other players online, with no house rules or variants added — just the classic game if you want to sharpen your tactics against an opponent your own speed.
Matchmaking puts you against players from anywhere, so the difficulty you face depends on who you're paired with rather than a fixed AI level.

Click the piece you want to move, then click the square you want to move it to; on a touchscreen, tap instead of clicking both times. Choose to play against the AI for a controlled difficulty, or queue into an online match if you want to test yourself against another person.
